We’re bringing some of the best minds in community energy to North East Victoria!

Demonstrating how our region can seize new renewable energy opportunities, the forum will include experts in community-scale batteries, the future of the electricity grid, as well as sessions on electric vehicles and pumped hydro energy storage.

Let’s shine the spotlight on local renewable energy opportunities!

Featuring: Marnie Shaw (ANU), Michael Mazengarb (RenewEconomy), Cathy McGowan AO (Former Member of the Australian Parliament), Tim Shue (Yarra Energy Foundation/Metropolitan Melbourne Community Power Hub), Matthew Charles-Jones (Mondo) and Russell Klose (Kilowatt Cars).

When: Friday, 18 February at 10am until 4:30pm.

Where: Beechworth Memorial Hall, 101 Ford St, Beechworth.

Ticket holder’s Information:

COVID-safe requirements will be in place at the venue; attendees will be required to check-in, show evidence of vaccination status or valid medical exemption and wear masks indoors.

The Community Energy Forum is a free event as part of the Hume Community Power Hub which is supported by Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Government.

The Hume Community Power Hub is being jointly delivered jointly by Indigo Power and GV Community Energy.
