The Lighthouse Foundation, a Yarra not-for-profit providing homes and care to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse and homelessness, is the recipient of a 4kW solar energy system donated through the Yarra Solar Program.

For each panel installed through the Yarra Solar Program, the City of Yarra and YEF donate a percentage to a local community organisation.

The Foundation’s focus is to create caring communities where kids can feel safe, form meaningful relationships and begin to heal from traumatic experiences. Going solar will free up funds for their important work in our community.
