Designed to increase installations of solar, electric and energy efficient appliances across a municipality, we make it simple and easy for residents by selecting reliable, reputable suppliers and pre-negotiated prices on good quality products.

Having run these programs for several years, we know what works and what doesn’t. Let us tailor your program to achieve your specific goals, whether that be targetting low-income or disadvantaged parts of your community, or running a special subsidy to get the outcomes you want.

Melbourne Community Electrification Roadshow

YEF has been awarded funding from Sustainability Victoria to coordinate the Melbourne Community Electrification Roadshow as part of the Community Electrification Engagement Program Fund.

YEF is working in partnership with community groups and local governments across metro Melbourne to coordinate a series of events between September 2025 and April 2026.

These events will help households understand the benefits of home electrification and how to access a range of Victorian Government incentives, including the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, the SEC Electric Home Planner, and Solar Victoria rebates.

Sport & Spark: Home Electrification Engagement Through Sport

Sport & Spark provides funding for sports clubs and organisations to organise events or activities for their communities between May – November 2026. While also providing households with a fun and accessible way to learn about home electrification – including solar, efficient electric heating and cooling, electric appliances and available rebates – through trusted sporting environments.

Sport & Spark is led by Yarra Energy Foundation (YEF) and supported by the Victorian Government through the Cheaper Home Electric Energy Program (CHEEP).

YEF is seeking to work with approximately 12 sports clubs or organisations to deliver this initiative.

City of Darebin: Darebin Energy Upgrades

Helping you to electrify and improve the efficiency of your home or business to increase comfort, reduce energy bills and invest in a cleaner, safer future!

Our program is open to all Darebin residents and business owners.

Program participants can access free, personalised energy advice and great deals on quality products, installed by vetted installers, All Electric Homes (for solar and electrification) and Enviroflex (for insulation).

Upgrades included in the Darebin Energy Upgrades program, insulation, draught proofing, reverse cycle heating and cooling (split systems), hot water heat pump systems, rooftop solar PV systems, home batteries, induction cooktops, electric vehicle chargers, and energy upgrades for businesses.

Mornington Peninsula Shire: Home Energy Upgrades

Helping you reduce your bills and improve household comfort through providing access to well-priced energy efficient products and free expert advice!

Program participants can access free, personalised energy advice and great deals on quality products, installed by vetted installers, All Electric Homes.

Upgrades included in the Mornington Peninsula Home Energy Upgrades program, rooftop solar, solar batteries, induction cooktops, reverse cycle heating and cooling (split systems), and hot water heat pump systems.

City of Hume: Hume Home Energy Upgrades

Helping residents make their homes more energy efficient – reducing bills & carbon emissions!

The Hume Home Energy Upgrades program connects residents with reliable, experienced suppliers to improve their home’s energy performance and comfort.

Through this program, homeowners can access a range of upgrades, including rooftop solar, reverse cycle heating and cooling, hot water heat pumps, induction cooktops, draught proofing and insulation.

After installing over 300 solar systems through the Hume Solar Roll-Out, we’re excited to continue working with Hume residents through this expanded program, enhancing their home’s efficiency and lowering carbon emissions.

City of Bayside: Love Bayside, Home Energy Upgrades program

Supporting Bayside residents to cut energy bills and carbon emissions.

The Love Bayside, Home Energy Upgrades program supports residents to improve their home’s comfort and efficiency with trusted advice and quality installations.

Through this program, households can access upgrades such as rooftop solar and batteries, reverse cycle heating and cooling, hot water heat pumps, induction cooktops, insulation and electric vehicle chargers.
